November 23, 2020

HOUSTON (Nov. 26, 2020) – Roadway construction on North Terminal Road at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, IAH, will reduce the number of lanes leading to Terminal C Arrivals, starting Dec. 1. This may not only cause traffic congestion for Terminal C Arrivals, but may also cause traffic congestion for passengers departing from Terminals C, D and E. Roadway construction is expected to be complete in March 2021.

Please share the following information with your viewers so travel congestion at Bush Airport can be minimized.

  • Passengers departing from Terminals C, D and E should expect roadway delays. Please build in an extra hour to your travel time

  • To avoid curbside pickups, family members or friends can park for free at the Terminal C Garage for the first hour. Coordinate ahead of time with your arriving passenger.

  • To reduce traffic congestion, family members or friends who are picking up passengers should wait at cell phone lots until the arriving passenger is ready at curbside for pickup.
