Media access at Houston Airports
Credentialed media may access the areas listed below without prior approval. Crews must not block passenger flow, disrupt airport operations or enter restricted areas.

Media may pay to park in an airport garage or ecopark lot. Media vehicles and crews may not block curbs, roadways, ADA spaces, terminal entrances, emergency access areas or passenger loading zones.
Curbside staging requires prior approval from Houston Airports.
Media may not interfere with TSA screening, passenger movement or security operations.
Requests involving TSA officers, checkpoint operations or screening procedures require TSA approval.
Post-security access requires advance coordination and is not guaranteed.
My recommendation: use two separate accordion questions. Reporters will search for “TSA checkpoints” and “post-security” as two different issues.
Houston Airports will designate a media staging area when possible. Media must not self-deploy to restricted, active emergency or operational areas and must follow instructions from Houston Airports, law enforcement, first responders and federal agencies. Updates will be provided as verified information becomes available.
Drone operations at or near Houston Airports are heavily restricted and may require federal, local and airport approvals. Media and production companies may not operate drones on or near airport property without prior written authorization and all required FAA approvals.
