September 14, 2020

Houston Airports Chief Operations Officer Steve Hennigan recently virtually addressed participants of the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce’s BizCom event. The forum provided updates from a blend of businesses, community organizations, school officials and individuals in the Lake Houston area, including neighborhoods in Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Summer Creek and Fall Creek.

Hennigan spoke about preparations and precautions underway at Houston Airports during the global pandemic, including the airport system’s FlySafe Houston initiative.

“The safety and security of our customers is our top priority,” Hennigan said. “As people start traveling again, it is important to let passengers know that we have many precautions in place to protect them, in addition to making sure that they are prepared before coming to the airport and that includes bringing your mask.”

Houston Airports enjoys a strong partnership with the Lake Houston Chamber of Commerce. Chief Community Relations Officer Rhonda Arnold serves on the chamber's advisory board.
