Houston Airports Supports AMA Houston Academy
October 11, 2016

AMA Houston Academy is the educational arm of the American Marketing Association Houston Chapter that provides in-depth, hands-on learning opportunities for marketers in the Houston area.

The mission of AMA Houston Academy is to provide educational events and resources to the local community in a way that crosses traditional industry segments (aviation, healthcare, energy, non-profit) so that marketers from all company types, job titles, functions, and disciplines will be able to apply new knowledge presented during Academy events to their everyday jobs and broaden their personal skills.

Houston Airports’ Marketing team recently supported the organization’s launch event held on September 20.

“It is important to expose the community to Houston Airports’ marketing initiatives and get them excited about new and upcoming programs that will enhance their travel experience,” said Kathleen Boyd, Director of Marketing. “We spoke about how we are improving the airport customer experience leveraging research and analytics, including our new website and its customer-centric features, and received a great response from the attendees.”
