Houston Airports Participates on Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Conference in Washington D.C.

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference was held September 14 -18, 2016 in Washington D.C. Chief Municipal Affairs Officer Rhonda Arnold served as the official representative of Houston Airports. The Annual Legislative Conference is the leading policy conference on issues impacting African Americans and the global black community.

Arnold was asked to participate on a distinguished panel hosted by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. The panel discussed minority contracting opportunities for small and medium sized businesses in transportation and was well attended. In addition to the panel session, Arnold visited with a number of key legislators to discuss their continued support of the legislative and strategic initiatives of Houston Airports.
