March 13, 2020

It was a delighful afternoon as passengers enjoyed a performance by the Eddie Akhmetchine Trio at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

Harmony in the Air, the Houston Airports Performing Arts Program, officially launched in 2015, and the passenger response has been overwhelmingly positive and uplifting.

The program was created to make our passengers happy, and provides a pleasant airport experience with live music performances that include a diverse repertoire of classical, jazz, pop, and international genres. With fine performances and unexpected “wow” moments, Harmony in the Air showcases Houston’s rich and diverse musical talent and cultures.

Performances take place at IAH in Terminal A, Northside Atrium, and in Terminal D, near gate D8. At William P. Hobby Airport, performances can be seen n the Central Concourse Rotunda.
