What is SMS?

Our Safety Management System (SMS) is a proactive, organization-wide approach to managing safety. It ensures we:

  • Identify potential hazards before they impact operations

  • Implement risk-based solutions

  • Promote a strong culture of safety across every airport role

  • Continuously monitor, measure, and improve our performance

This system supports our compliance with FAA requirements, but more importantly, it reflects our R.I.S.E. core values as an airport system focused on people, performance, and progress.
