Landry’s Seafood House opens at Hobby Airport
Jun 9, 2026
New sit-down restaurant near Gate 41 brings Gulf Coast seafood, full-service dining and a familiar Houston name to HOU travelers.
Travelers at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) have a new place to sit down, slow down and enjoy a taste of the Gulf Coast before takeoff.
Landry’s Seafood House opened in early June near Gate 41, bringing a full-service restaurant concept to one of Houston’s busiest airport concourses just in time for FIFA World Cup 2026 travel. The restaurant is operated by Areas.
The new restaurant offers travelers a sit-down dining option with a broad menu of seafood, salads, sandwiches, steaks, cocktails, beer and breakfast items. The space features warm lighting, brick accents, bar seating, dining tables and a design that reflects the familiar Landry’s Seafood House brand while fitting naturally into the airport environment.
“Houston Airports is focused on creating a passenger experience that feels efficient, welcoming and distinctly Houston,” said Jim Szczesniak, director of aviation for Houston Airports. “Landry’s Seafood House gives Hobby Airport travelers a full-service dining option and a recognizable local connection as we prepare to welcome soccer fans from around the world.”
The opening adds another recognizable Houston restaurant brand to the airport system’s growing concessions program. For travelers, it offers a more relaxed alternative to grab-and-go dining and creates a place for families, business travelers and visitors to enjoy a meal without leaving the terminal.
Landry’s Seafood House is now open as Houston Airports prepares for one of the busiest travel periods of the year. From June 12 through July 6, Houston Airports expects an estimated 4.5 million passengers across HOU and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) as Houston hosts FIFA World Cup 2026.
