Common Bond opens first airport location at Hobby Airport
Jun 29, 2026
The Houston-born bar, bistro and bakery brings coffee, pastries and sit-down dining to the West Concourse near Gate 1.
HOUSTON—Common Bond opened its first airport location on Monday, June 29, at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), giving passengers a new place to sit down, grab coffee or pick up one of the bakery’s signature pastries before a flight. The food and beverage concept is operated by LaTrelle's.
Located near Gate 1 in the West Concourse, across from The Spot, Starbucks, Pei Wei and Chick-fil-A, Common Bond Bar, Bistro & Bakery serves breakfast, coffee, pastries, desserts, sandwiches, salads, burgers, flatbreads and its signature Frozen Bond drink.
The opening adds a recognizable Houston brand to Hobby Airport’s growing and award-winning food and beverage program and brings passengers another local dining option inside one of the nation’s top-rated airports.
Common Bond opened its first bistro and bakery in Houston’s Montrose area in May 2014. The brand has since grown to six bistro and bakery locations across the Houston area, along with four on-the-go locations offering pastries, sweets, sandwiches, salad bowls and other grab-and-go items.
Common Bond’s opening at HOU marks another milestone in the continued refresh of the airport’s food and beverage program. The remaining major update is the HOU Food Court in the Central Concourse, where construction is scheduled to begin in January 2027. New concepts are expected to open in summer 2027.
Passengers flying through HOU can visit Common Bond near Gate 1 in the West Concourse.
