Screening procedures

Houston Airports advises travelers about TSA screening procedures at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), featuring Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT). AIT involves a quick scan for enhanced threat detection. Most passengers can opt for physical screening if they decline AIT. Enhanced pat-downs are conducted randomly or by preference, providing a thorough check with explanations given in advance. Children 12 and under receive a modified pat-down.
