The Houston Airport System and Midway Companies plans for a 10.3 acre mixed-use development at George Bush Intercontinental Airport which will be conveniently located in front of the Consolidated Car Rental Facility.

The Concourse brings the experience of convenient shopping and dining to airport travelers as well as to area residents. Flight Information Display Systems provide passengers with up to the minute flight information.

This mixed-use development will have approximately 30,000 sf. of retail space, a 5 story hotel with conference space and 50,000 sf. Class A office space.

A yearly passenger traffic of more than 42 million, a daytime population of over 63,000 within a 5 miles radius, and over 3,700 customers at the Consolidated Car Rental Facility make this development an excellent opportunity for the restaurant business.

In addition to a 5 story hotel with conference space, there will be a plaza featuring approximately 30,000 square feet of retail and concession offerings. We want a blend of restaurants and amenities for our customers; we are in the early stages of looking at a mix of offerings to complement what we already have in the airport terminals. The Concourse’s mixture of uses will be a regional draw to people to experience the Concourse retail offerings and the hotel.
