HOUSTON — Passengers looking for a way to save some money while traveling over this Memorial Day holiday weekend can save even more than usual at the new ecopark2 location at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

For the Memorial Day holiday week, through May 31, customers utilizing the new location at 5021 Will Clayton Boulevard can use a coupon for 50 percent off the normal rate (two-day minimum stay) at the low-cost, on-airport parking provider. That coupon can be downloaded off the airport website

The new ecopark2 location, which had a limited opening earlier in May, will provide 2,300 covered parking spaces at an affordable rate and also has a limited number of spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as 30 ADA parking spaces. With the largest environmentally friendly shuttle fleet at Bush Intercontinental, both ecopark locations offer an affordable parking option that still connects passengers to terminals quickly and efficiently. The shuttle service at both locations operates 24/7 both to and from the terminals.

Combined with the spaces available at the ecopark location along John F. Kennedy Boulevard, nearly 11,000 parking spots will be available at the official on-airport value lots at Bush Intercontinental, with about 4,000 of those covered spaces. Add in the spaces available at the terminal garages, and Bush Intercontinental customers have more than 27,000 spaces to choose from at the airport.

“Our customers want affordable and convenient parking options, and the new ecopark2 location offers just that,” said Walt Gray, the Houston Airport System Assistant Director for Parking Services. “Both ecopark locations provide customers a way to get to and from the terminals quickly for an affordable price, and delivers the kind of customer-focused options and service they want and deserve.”

The JFK Boulevard ecopark lot also can accommodate oversized vehicles such as campers, large trucks, etc. The entrance for these vehicles is at the north gate located off JFK Boulevard's feeder road.
