Houston Airport System Honored at Annual AMAC Conference

The Houston Airport System was proud to be honored at the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) 2016 National Business Diversity Conference, held in Cleveland, Ohio. Vice Mayor Pro-Tem Jerry Davis, Chief Municipal Affairs Officer Rhonda Arnold, Assistant Director Jarrett Simmons, Deputy Director Jason McLemore, Office of Business Opportunity Analyst Eduardo Mejia, and Municipal & Community Affairs Manager Jerry Peruchini attended on behalf of the Houston Airport System and the City of Houston.

The conference featured airport executives, company leaders, small business owners, and a host of parties interested in working within the aviation industry. AMAC supports the ability of diverse businesses to build bridges, network, and establish business relationships with airport and airline partners. Houston Airports hosted a special preview reception for the 2017 National Business Diversity Conference, which will be held in Houston at the soon-to-open Marriott Marquis downtown. Chief Municipal Affairs Officer Rhonda Arnold, who serves as AMAC’s Southwest Regional Director, will hold the post of Conference Chair with Houston Aviation Director Mario Diaz.
