Construction to enhance the customer experience at George Bush Intercontinental Airport is underway and will have some impact on the usual routes customers take to access the terminal facilities. The FAA recently approved a Launch Site License for a commercial spaceport at Ellington. The flurry of international nonstop air service continues with the launch of All Nippon Airways and EVA Air. An all-new C-North concourse is coming to Bush Intercontinental Airport as well as additional covered economy parking spaces. Houstonians will soon have plenty of affordable options for nonstop flights to Latin America due to expanded routes maps from Spirit Airlines and Southwest Airlines. May 2015 e-Newsletter
The flurry of nonstop air service activity continues. Air New Zealand recently announced plans to connect Houston and Auckland in December, and Spirit Airlines launches nonstop international routes from Houston this month. To accommodate the unprecedented international growth, the Houston Airport System is constructing a new international terminal and recently selected firms to serve in various roles of the IAH Terminal Redevelopment Program.
