If you need to wait for a passenger for an extended period, you will need to park in a lot.


If You Are Picking Up or Dropping Off Passengers

While you may drive up to the terminal area to pick up or drop off a passenger, your vehicle cannot be left unattended nor can you park and wait for an extended period. If you want to enter the terminal to meet/greet a passenger, we suggest you park your car in one of our parking facilities. Remember, only ticketed passengers are allowed past security checkpoints. You will be able to meet and greet passengers in the ticket lobby or baggage claim area only.

You may also use the Cell Lots at IAH - they are free and convenient.
