SCOPE
This is for the design, replacement and upgrade of the sewer and storm water system at GBIAH. This project will replace and upgrade two sanitary lift stations at Gates C-45 and D-4, and a storm water lift station located adjacent to the JFK/Will Clayton interchange. The locations are noted as follows. Location 1 - Upgrades to storm water lift station # 1 will include new pumps, MEP, controls, filters, updated control systems and upgraded back up emergency power systems. The upgrade will include greater capacity pumps to compensate for runoff created by future construction in the immediate area. This project should be constructed during the fall of 2008 while Runway 9-27 is down for rehabilitation. Location 2 - Sanitary Sewer Lift Station at terminal gate C-45. Upgrade will include a new sump, new pumps, MEP discharge lines and new control system. These are two pumps that ride on the vertical rails. The Aircraft Operation Area (AOA) clearance will be needed to access this location. Location 3 - Sanitary Sewer Lift Station at terminal gate D-4. Upgrades will include a new sump, new pumps, MEP, discharge lines and new control system. Thare are two pumps that ride on vertical rails. AOA clearance will be needed to access this location. Both sanitary sewer lift stations were originally built at the same time. Amendment No. 1 - For additional services in connection with sanitary sewer investigation services for Terminal A, B, C, D adn the Federal Inspection Services facility at IAH. Amendment No. 2 - To provide professional engineering services for design of improvements for seven sanitary sewer lift stations and facilities within the terminal areas at IAH. Amendment No. 3 - For construction phase services for project 638A & 698 - this iwll rehabilitate and upgrade one Storm water lift station and two sanitary lift stations at terminal D-west and at gate D-4, as well as re-routing an existing 8" sanitary Sewer line in Central cargo area and upgrade it t a 12" sanitary sewer line. Project 638B - this will rehabilitate six sanitary lift stations and one aircraft receiving station. Replace and update sanitary lift station to include higher capacity; replace pumps, pipes lines and control system. Replace and update storm water lift station #1 (adjacent to JFK/Will Clayton interchange) to include: pumps, controls, filters and back up power. The upgade would include greater capacity pumps to compensate for lowerin of JFK Blvd. inbound and additional run-off created by construction/excavations in the immediate area; update/upgrade control systems and the upgrade of back-up/emergency power. To disconnect the septic system at technical services division building located at 18600 Lee Road ( formally the Panalpina building) and connect the COH sewer line located in front of the building parallel with Lee Road
