SCOPE
The Design part of this project provides professional architectural and engineering services, including all architectural, civil, structural, general construction, mechanical, plumbing & electrical work along with related HVAC control systems for: Central Plant building expansion to house three new boilers and associated equipment, High Temperature Hot Water (HTHW) Distribution System Upgrade (Terminal B to A) and Repair and Upgrade Cooling Towers. Added project scope: HVAC Electronic Controls Terminal A, B, C, D, & FIS - Change components in HVAC system from pneumatic controls to electronic controls. Controls to be compatible with existing Alerton system Early GMP package consists of the following: Demolition of an inoperable steam driven chiller, three boilers, and a cooling tower Construction of a replacement cooling tower
