Capital Improvement Program Summary
Houston Airport System annually updates its five-year capital improvement program, which is approved by the City of Houston City Council.
The current Plan calls for $984 million of spending through fiscal year 2017. The spending is concentrated in airfield and terminal projects with the majority of the spending concentrated at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. An updated CIP is approved annually by the Houston City Council as part of each new fiscal year.
