Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Overview

Capital Improvement Program Summary 

Houston Airport System has a five-year capital improvement program, which was approved by the City of Houston City Council and calls for $1.08 billion of spending through fiscal year 2018. The spending is concentrated in terminal and airfield projects with the majority of the spending concentrated at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. An updated CIP is approved annually by the Houston City Council as part of each new fiscal year. This CIP was approved on June 26, 2013 by City Council.
