Because of ongoing construction for the extension of George Bush Intercontinental Airport’s automated people mover (above ground train) to Terminal A, travelers to the airport should expect the following roadway changes:

There will be two lanes of traffic open around Terminal A - one lane is closest to the terminal, opened for through traffic only; the second land is the tug road. This roadway configuration will remain in place until further notice. Passenger pickup on the north side has been moved to the south of the terminal, signage and barricades are in place to preclude pedestrian traffic from exiting through the north side. |

Height restrictions on North Terminal Road, near the north side of Terminal A, have been reduced to 13 feet and 6 inches because of construction. Vehicles taller than 13 feet and 6 inches should contact 281.230.3100 to be escorted through the airport. | |
