Q: Where is the Global Entry Satellite Office located in downtown Houston?

      A: 901 Bagby Street, Houston, 77002, on the mezzanine level of City Hall Visitorís Center.


Q: How do I make an appointment to visit the downtown Global Entry office?

     A: Two to three weeks after completing your online enrollment, you should receive a conditional approval. The conditional approval will invite you to schedule an in-person appointment where you will watch a video, meet face-to-face with an officer, and submit biometrics. You can schedule an appointment at any office in any state.

Q: Will I have to pay to park downtown?

     A: Free parking is available for a two-hour maximum on the street level at the north side entrance of the Visitorís Center.

 

Q: What are the hours of the Global Entry Satellite Office in downtown?

     A: Customs and Border Protection will staff the downtown office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST.

 

Q: Will Global Entry be available at William P. Hobby Airport?

     A: When international service begins at Hobby Airport, there will be Global Entry available.

 

Q: Who is eligible for Global Entry?

     A: U.S. Citizens & Legal Permanent Residents, Mexican Nationals, Canadians, Dutch Nationals (who are Privium members), South Korean Nationals and some other select countries via pilot programs, or limited reciprocating agreements.

 

Q: Where else besides Houston/IAH can I use Global Entry?

     A: Global Entry is currently available at 30 U.S. Airports and 12 pre-clearance airports outside of the U.S. For a complete list, visit http://globalentry.gov/locations.html.

 

Q: When did IAH start Global Entry and what is the cost?

    A: IAH began using the Global Entry Program in 2008. It costs $100 for a 5 year membership.

 

Q: How many passengers use Global Entry?

    A: Bush Intercontinental Airport averages 6 percent of daily international arriving passengers, which equates to 18,100 travelers monthly.

 

Q: How many international passengers travel through Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)?

     A: Approximately 8,764,545 or 28.2 percent of total IAH passengers.
