The Airport Board of Adjustment was established February 1, 2009 (appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council). The purpose of the Airport Board of Adjustment is to hear and decide appeals, special requests, and requests for variance to the Airport Land Use Regulations Ordinance passed by City Council on December 3, 2008 and made effective February 1, 2009; as well as the Airport Hazard Area Regulations Ordinance passed December 16, 2009 and made effective March 1, 2010. The Airport Board of Adjustment meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month or on an as-needed basis. Meetings are held in the City Hall Annex Council Chambers at 900 Bagby, 1st floor, unless otherwise noted and agendas for each meeting will be available to view at City Hall, 901 Bagby, Houston, Texas 77002, 72 hours prior to the meeting
