The Airport Compatible Land Use Regulations Board of Adjustment (Airport Board of Adjustment) was established February 1, 2009 and is composed of 5 members (and alternates for each position) appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council. The purpose of the Airport Board of Adjustment is to hear and decide appeals, special requests, and requests for variance to the Airport Land Use Regulations Ordinance passed by City Council on December 3, 2008 and made effective February 1, 2009.
The Airport Board of Adjustment meetings are held once a month on an as-needed basis. Meetings are held in the City Hall Annex Council Chambers at 900 Bagby, 1st floor, unless otherwise noted and agendas for each meeting will be available to view at City Hall and on the Houston Airport System web site 72 hours prior to the meeting.
