ATA Airlines has started twice daily, nonstop flights from Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport to New York’s LaGuardia Airport. This is the only nonstop service between Hobby and LaGuardia. The flights will use Boeing 737 aircraft.
“The addition of ATA Airlines is more proof that Hobby Airport and Houston provide the customer base and the financial environment necessary for success," said Houston Mayor Bill White.
“We welcome ATA Airlines’ new service to Houston,” said Rick Vacar, director of the Houston Airport System (HAS). “They add a new option for our Hobby Airport customers and increase Houston’s presence in the global air transport network.”
