Perry J. Miller is the Airport Manager for the Houston Airport System's Ellington Field. He is responsible for directing the day-to-day management of Houston's joint-use civil/military airport; as well as for establishing policies, procedures, guidelines and project schedules for the site of the annual Wings Over Houston Airshow. In addition, Miller also coordinates the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the budget and expenditures for Ellington Field, among other duties.
Mr. Miller joined the Houston Airport System in 1991 as a management intern and quickly climbed the ranks of the sixth-largest airport system in the world. His first promotion was in 1993 to management analyst and since then accredited executive of the American Association of Airport Executives has held various positions at George Bush Intercontinental Airport including senior superintendent, assistant superintendent and airport supervisor. Prior to his current appointment as Airport Manager of Ellington Field, Mr. Miller worked as senior airport properties representative of the Houston Airport System at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Mr. Miller obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Airway Science-Management from Texas Southern University in 1990. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Transportation Planning and Management.
