Thomas B. Bartlett is Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Director of Aviation for Operations Services for the Houston Airport System. He is responsible for the daily operations, maintenance and administration of the three Houston aviation facilities - George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P. Hobby Airport and Ellington Field.

Mr. Bartlett became Chief Operating Officer of the Houston Airport System in February 2003 and brought to the position over 35 years of aviation- and aeronautical-related experience and education. He has been a Houston Airport System employee for the past 21 years of his career and has extensive knowledge of each of the areas he is now accountable for.

A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Mr. Bartlett has previously worked as an Assistant Director of Aviation/Maintenance, as a Senior Coordinator of Standards and Procedures, a Superintendent of Airport Operations, an Assistant Superintendent of Physical Plant Maintenance and as an Operations and Safety Officer for the Houston Airport System.

Thomas B. Bartlett holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies and Flight Technology and an Associates of Science in Aviation Management, both from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

In addition, Mr. Bartlett is a commercial and instrument pilot, advanced and instrument ground instructor and a certified flight instructor.
