Spirit Airlines Adds Seasonal Service to Minneapolis

  Spirit Airlines offers daily nonstop flights from Houston to seven U.S. cities.
Spirit Airlines recently announced new nonstop seasonal service from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). This new service will consist of one daily nonstop flight operating from May 1, 2014 through November 1, 2014.

"Spirit Airlines continues to find new and exciting opportunities within the Houston market," says Ian Wadsworth, Chief Commercial Officer with the Houston Airport System. "Since their arrival in 2012, Spirit has repeatedly stepped forward in creating new nonstop service options for their Houston customers, and we're excited to see that trend continuing into 2014."

From May 1 to May 21, flights will depart Houston at 6 a.m. daily, and return flights will depart Minneapolis at 6:56 p.m. daily. From May 22 to Nov. 1, flights will depart Houston at 6:15 a.m. and depart Minneapolis at 8:10 p.m.

"We're pleased to announce new nonstop seasonal service to Minneapolis-St. Paul from both Houston and Baltimore," said Mark Kopczak, Spirit's Vice President of Network Planning. "Spirit offers ultra-low fares plus optional services for a total price that is tough to beat. This means visitors are left with more in their wallet to explore the various attractions Minneapolis-St. Paul, Houston and Baltimore have to offer."
