Passengers in Terminal C at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) will soon have a new dining option, as the Camden food co. opens its doors in early September.

The deli/sandwich shop, which will be located in the northern concourse of Terminal C, specializes in offering customers a wide range of organic and gluten free products.

“The Camden food co. provides healthy menu options to customers who are on the go,” says Randy Goodman, commercial development manager for the Houston Airport System. “You can package an entire meal from their salad bar or deli and even take it on board the flight with you.”

The menu covers a range of food types and includes breakfast options such as farm fresh egg paninis and baked frittatas.

The specialty list includes sandwich options featuring turkey, egg salad, smoked chicken, roasted vegetables and more.

The market also brings passengers a wide range of coffee options, including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and more.

Representatives with the Camden food co. are quick to point out that the coffee being brewed is from Java Pura, a brand recently named “best coffee roaster” by the Houston Press.

“Camden food co. works very hard to reflect the local flavor,” Goodman says. “They put a heavy focus on using local farmers and local suppliers in an effort to maximize freshness.”
