Samar Mukhopadhyay brings more than 35 years of experience to his new position. |

| The Houston Airport System announces the selection of Samar N. Mukhopadhyay as the new chief development officer of Planning, Design and Construction.
Mukhopadhyay is responsible for overseeing all administration of design and construction contracts, managing long-term and short-term airport projects, analyzing operations and implementing best practice policies and procedures at the Houston Airport System.
Prior to joining the Houston Airport System, Mukhopadhyay served as a programming consultant at Omega Engineers and was vice president of aviation at Jacobs Engineering Co. in California.
Mukhopadhyay brings more than 35 years of experience in the aviation construction management industry, including major airport projects at John Wayne Airport, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, Lisbon Airport and William P. Hobby Airport.
Mukhopadhyay received a Master's degree in Construction Project Management and a degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. |
