New Baggage Claim at Hobby is Open
Improvements continue to arrive at William P. Hobby Airport, as the new baggage claim is opened to the public. The renovated space offers passengers a number of improved features, including new terrazzo flooring, longer baggage conveyors, upgraded lighting and larger restroom facilities.

Preparations are Underway for A380
George Bush Intercontinental Airport is preparing to become the first airport in Texas to operate scheduled air service using the Airbus A380 aircraft. Lufthansa Airlines will bring the double-deck aircraft to Houston on August 1, 2012.

Frontier Airlines Moving Back to IAH
Effective July 11, 2012, Frontier Airlines is returning Houston flight operations to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The low-cost carrier is making the move after spending the past 20 months flying in and out of William P. Hobby Airport.

Delta Airlines Launching New Service
Passengers in Houston will enjoy a new non-stop flight option from Delta Airlines in July 2012, as service starts up between George Bush Intercontinental Airport and New York's LaGuardia Airport.
