Customer Relations



Customer Relations is a top priority at Houston's Airports. We not only care about what happens at our airports, we also care about the future of aviation and reach out to schools to educate children at career days and offer tours of various aviation facilities.

Education Outreach

It is the goal of Customer Relations to support the youth via career day activities and academic development programs within the surrounding school districts. The core of the education outreach program is to enthusiastically participate in Houston-area schools’ career days as well area universities mentoring students and participating in activities to introduce students to the field of aviation. The program strongly encourages teachers and school officials to contact the Customer Relations team with ideas and suggestions in order to support their educational goals. Conducted as a comprehensive outreach effort, the program provides the Houston Airport System the opportunity to introduce the field of aviation, the overall concept of the operations of an airport, differences in various operators on-airport and off-airport, and the field of aerospace to students from the ages of kindergarten through grade 12 while also encouraging them to stay in school and pursue higher education.

Career Days/School Fairs

HAS Customer Relations play an active and important role in enhancing the educational process for students of different facets while also introducing them to different professional opportunities for the future.

Airport Tours

Customer Relations conduct traditional and non-traditional airport tours determined by areas of interest at George Bush Intercontinental, William P. Hobby, and Ellington Airports. Tours are available at no charge to groups such as civic associations, schools, scouting organizations, church clubs, etc. Each tour will provide a close-up look at Houston's airports and how they operate. Tours can be customized to fit the interest of different groups. Tours will last 1½ to 2 hours during normal business hours and are available to both adults and children (10 years and older). Advance reservations are required.
