Friday, May 20 promises to be a very special day for our heroes in uniform.
On Friday, May 20, a huge Texas welcome is being coordinated at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) for a group of very important people.

Together, Warriors Weekend and MoMs USA, are welcoming home nearly 200 wounded soldiers from all Branches of the U.S. Military. Due to the fact that the U.S. Department of Defense only charters planes for service members to Dallas and Atlanta, welcoming home heroes at Houston’s airports is a rare event – and you’re invited.

The welcoming party will be at IAH’s Terminal C baggage claim at 8:30 a.m. Soon after arriving, these brave men and women will be taken on tour buses to enjoy a fishing weekend in Port O’Connor, TX, sponsored by the Warriors Weekend Corporation.

Please feel free to come out and help us support our troops.

This is accomplished through holding an annual fishing event for the wounded military personnel in May in Port O’Connor, Texas as well as donations to veterans and veteran-based causes.
