New Training Lands at Bush Intercontinental Airport
A decommissioned Boeing 737 aircraft located at George Bush Intercontinental Airport will now be used in specialized training exercises by local law enforcement agencies and other first-responder groups.
Alternative Energy Source Fuels Development at Houston Airport
The Houston Airport System will soon be taking a major step forward in utilizing vehicles that run on alternative fuel sources, as an entire fleet of natural gas shuttle buses are brought into the Parking Cents operation.
Continental and United Airlines Merger
Executives from Continental and United Airlines have recently taken two key steps in their march toward an eventual merger. In mid-July 2010, representatives from the two airlines gathered in downtown Houston to hold their first merger integration steering committee meeting.

Singapore Airlines is Expanding Service Again
For the second time this year, Singapore Airlines is expanding its schedule in regards to the non-stop flight service between Houston and Moscow, Russia. The airline is going from five flights per week to daily service.
Continental Announces New Service Between IAH and Gunnison-Crested Butte, Colorado
Continental Airlines is bringing new seasonal air service this winter to its largest hub. The new non-stop flight between Houston and Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport in Colorado is set to begin on Thursday, December 16, 2010 and will operate through Sunday, April 3, 2011.
United Airlines Changing Terminals at IAH
Starting on August 16, 2010, passengers flying United Airlines at George Bush Intercontinental Airport will have their arrivals and departures taking place in a different terminal facility. Thats because United Airlines is moving from its current location inside Terminal A, and relocating all flight operations to Terminal C.
Hobby Airport Highlights $250 Million Makeover
A $250 million remodeling project is now having a significant impact on virtually every corner of the operation at Hobby Airport, and on July 16, 2010, that impact was celebrated with a special ribbon cutting ceremony.
