Hot-Zone Highlights Hobby Fest 2010

A lip-smacking, family-friendly day on the tarmac is planned for Hobby Fest 2010 at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. The site of Houston’s first International Airport will play host to a day of celebration, aviation sightseeing, music, prizes, and a hot-zone chili cook-off contest. The annual festivities are hosted by an array of community groups, civic organizations, local businesses and the Houston Airport System (HAS). Hobby Fest offers an up close look at rare, specialty, and high-tech aircraft on the tarmac, along with exploring the world of Houston aviation in the renovated, award-winning museum.
