As part of the year long celebration of the 80th anniversary of Hobby airport, students from across the Greater Houston Metropolitan region competed for the chance to showcase their artwork to the 8.5 plus million passengers that pass through Houston's second largest airport each year. Central to the art contest was the theme of Hobby Airport still flying high in its 80th anniversary.
Hundreds of inspired works of art were submitted for consideration to a panel of seven judges listed below:

All winning works of art will be on display in the terminal at Hobby until the end of the year. The Houston Airport System extends a warm thank you to all who entered.
