August 30, 2006

Each year the Houston Airport System’s (HAS) three airports – George Bush Intercontinental, William P. Hobby and Ellington Field – generate countless business opportunities for local entrepreneurs. The HAS Small Business Development and Contract Compliance Division is searching for more local entrepreneurs to take advantage of the many business opportunities available at Houston’s airports.

On Friday, September 15, 2006, HAS invites local businesses to participate in the first annual HAS Business Opportunity Networking Fair. At this free event, participants will learn how to do business with HAS through a series of seminars and one-on-one sessions.

Representatives from several HAS divisions, professional services providers, prime contractors and concessionaires will be on-hand to provide networking and information-gathering opportunities for all participants. In addition, the fair will feature government and private sector representatives and City of Houston Certification information.

The HAS Business Opportunity Networking Fair will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Humble Civic Center – located at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble, Texas. For more information, visit our website at www.fly2houston.com .

Space is limited to the first 300 registered attendees so register today by email at - sbdccd@cityofhouston.net . Please provide your company name, address, capabilities, phone and fax, and name(s) of those planning to attend.
