Frank Haley

Frank Haley is the Chief Operating Officer for the Houston Airport System. He is responsible for security, traffic management, information technology and public safety services at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P. Hobby Airport and Ellington Airport. Additionally, Mr. Haley is the Houston Airport System's primary liaison to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and to the Federal Security Directors assigned to each airport.

He has been employed by the Houston Airport System for twenty-three years and assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer in 2009.

Mr. Haley began his career with HAS as a Personnel Specialist in 1982, and left the City in 1986 to run a private business in Humble, Texas for four years prior to returning to the department in 1990.

Since that time he managed the Bush Intercontinental Communication Center and Badging office for seven years and served as the Chief Technology Officer for HAS from 1999 until January 2008. His prior service also includes year long tenure as the Chief of Operations Services from 1998 until 1999. He is active in the Airports Council International - North America, as a member of the Business Information Technology Committee, and the Safety and Security Committee.

Additionally, Mr. Haley has 15 years experience as an Air Traffic Controller; seven years FAA and eight years in the United States Air Force. He is a licensed pilot and has flown a variety of aircraft since 1958.
