In a world where technology spoils us with endless gadgets, a common issue for the traveling public arises when there is a separation from being connected with the outside world by phone or e-mail due to a dead battery.
Now, at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), passengers can be at ease because new Samsung Charging Stations are now available throughout the airport.
Houston passengers will be able to conveniently charge their cell phones, laptops and other personal electronics for free. All that is required is the device’s power cord.
With the holiday season among us, IAH will be able to provide this added service to millions of passengers with an increasing demand for electrical outlets.
“One of our top priorities is to give each passenger the best customer service they could possibly get at Houston’s airports,” says Rob Wigington, Houston Airport System deputy director. “Providing electronic outlets for passengers to charge their gadgets while they’re on the go to Bush Intercontinental’s 105 domestic and nearly 70 international destinations will definitely be a plus for them.”
To kick off the first installation at IAH, Samsung Power Girls demonstrated how to easily use the charging stations and distributed Power bars and “Go Cards” to travelers that provided the locations of each charging station at IAH. |
